‘They don’t care,’ rages Dollar Tree shopper who says new policy for ‘complete customer satisfaction’ isn’t enforced


A DOLLAR Tree customer has blasted the retailer for allegedly not sticking to one of its policies.

The shopper complained about a recent in-store visit and Dollar Tree’s customer service response to him.

Krazy Joe complained at the chain on X, formerly Twitter.

He shared a screenshot of Dollar Tree’s return policy and claimed a manager at the store refused to issue him with a refund.

The shopper alleged the store manager had broken the chain’s rules.

“@DollarTree “Mike”, the manager at Dollar Tree # 2932 refused to adhere to the listed return policy as stated on Dollar Tree’s website,” he wrote in the post.

“Despite the published policy clearly stating that I can get a refund with a receipt, he refused.”

Dollar Tree’s website has stated in its merchandise return policy that it intended to ensure shoppers were “satisfied” with their items.

“At Dollar Tree, we want our customers to enjoy their shopping experience and be completely satisfied with their purchase,” the website said.

Joe added on X that he was not just unsatisfied with his product but also the customer service from the chain.

“I can tell you that Dollar Tree Customer Service completely blew this off,” he wrote.

“They really don’t care.”

It is not clear whether Joe’s purchase was made in-store or online.

The chain has stated online that its return policy does differ between these two types of purchases.

In-store purchases can be exchanged or refunded with the original receipt.

Online sales are final and cannot be refunded.

Another shopper said he discovered this policy the difficult way after he was unable to return 48 picture frames.

“I orderd some picture frames to use as “Thank You” gifts for our annual fundraiser,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

“My fault or not, it is a retail establishment, and I ordered the wrong ones.

“I finally found their customer service number. Without pausing for a breath, the gentleman stated that all sales are final.

“If I had purchased 2 or 3, this would never be an issue but I ordered 48.”

“Just wanted this to be a warning……..So, if anyone might need a few 4 x 6 plastic picture frame, I know a guy…..!” he added.
