Facebook user Silvia Young shared a video full of Dollar Tree bathroom items that she found for cheaper than Walmart.

The kicker is that the items Young was hauling are identical to those sold at the major retail chain.

Young’s video featured three predominant items that sell for more than double the price elsewhere.

CHEAPER ITEMS REVEALED

The first item Young shared with her audience was a spice rack, “which is amazing,” she said.

She showed off a Storage Essentials White Wire Step Storage Rack from the Dollar Tree.

It sells for only $1.25 online and, from what Young said, in-store.

Meanwhile, a similar storage rack at Walmart sells for $11.98.

Young then moved on to her second item: antibacterial hand soap.

The brand Youn boasted in her video was Spa Soap Liquid Antibacterial Hand Soap Refill Bottles in Original Gold, which sells for another $1.25 at Dollar Tree.

At Walmart, the refills, per a screenshot of the item in Young’s video, the soap sells for $18.99. \

“Can’t beat that, y’all,” she told her viewers.

Her next find was organic sanitary pads from the brand B-Pure.

The Regular and Super Lavender-Infused Pads sell for $9.99 and $9.94 respectively at major retailers like Walmart.

And again, Dollar Tree has them on its shelves for just $1.25.

At least 1,000 dollar stores to close, CEO says

Dollar Tree, the parent company of Family Dollar, revealed it would close around 1,000 stores in the coming years.

The company announced in March that it will shutter the stores after the discount retailer it acquired nearly a decade ago plummeted in value.

Dollar Tree plans to close about 600 Family Dollar stores in the first half of this year.

This will be followed by the shuttering of 370 Family Dollar and 30 Dollar Tree stores over the next several years.

The chain of discount variety stores has also indicated that sales are being affected by the cost-of-living crisis and inflation.

But USA Today added that Dollar Tree has also been rocked by reduced government benefits for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

This has left families struggling to juggle finances, with as much as $250 less per month.

“These pads are better than Always pads,” she assured. “They don’t even feel like I’ve got a pad on when I wear these.”

VIEWER REACTION

Commenters on the video were impressed with the findings and were quick to react.

“Those toothbrushes are the best. I’m definitely gonna have to check my store out!!!” one person wrote.

“U are my kind of shopper,” another person said, complimenting Young’s choices.

“I work there and you’re finding good stuff I didn’t know we had,” a third commented.

Meanwhile, a well-known Dollar Tree store was forced to close due to a sudden decline in structural integrity and concerns for shopper safety.

And another Dollar Tree shopper has announced her intention to boycott the store and purchase items from a major competitor instead.
