SAVVY shoppers found an affordable dupe for a popular mouthwash that performs just as well as Crest.
Dollar Tree may not be the first place people think of to stock up on toiletries, but it has a surprising and affordable assortment.
Shoppers can find beauty and health essentials for just $1.25.
Customer Latisha Brown was surprised the store sold name brands like Crest and Colgate.
She shared a video of her Dollar Tree haul in a Facebook post, which included a dupe for a Crest mouthwash that was out of stock.
“Since when has Dollar Tree sold the charcoal Colgate and the Stain Eraser from Crest? Did y’all know that?” she asked viewers.
She said it was the first time she had seen the Crest 3D White toothpaste in the store. It retails for $3.99 at Target.
Colgate’s charcoal whitening toothpaste costs $6.29 at Target.
But at Dollar Tree, both were just $1.25.
RINSE AND REPEAT
She also found a dupe for the Crest 3D White Brilliance mouthwash with the Lavoria Whitening mint mouthwash. They cost $7.99 and $1.25, respectively.
Dollar Tree shoppers raved about the store’s mouthwash, giving it a perfect five-star rating.
One customer said it is “very comparable” to similar mouthwashes that cost two to three times more.
Another said their dentist was “amazed” at how quickly a mouthsore healed after using the mouthwash for just two days.
“I have been buying this product forever. If you have a sore or anything in your mouth, this will heal it almost instantly,” wrote a shopper in a review.
“I’m so glad I found it when I did. It keeps the dentist/doctor away. My ten-year-old loves this product, too.”
Shoppers also had rave reviews for the cinnamon flavor of the mouthwash.
A customer said they could only find the cinnamon one at Dollar Tree and on Amazon and that Dollar Tree was “about half the price” of Amazon.
Reviewers warned that the cinnamon one is hard to find, with some saying they go months without seeing it in stores.

CAN’T MIST
Dollar Tree’s Power Stick brand Brazilian Mist body spray is a dupe of a pricey Sephora fragrance.
Instagram user Kim (@dollartreedollie) said the spray smells just like the viral Sol de Janeiro Cheriosa 62 perfume mist.
Kim said Dollar Tree’s version “smells just like” the real thing, with notes of pistachio and salted caramel in both.
“I thought they were going to be sold out,” she said.
Cheriosa sells for up to $38 depending on size, while Dollar Tree’s is just $1.25, according to Kim’s post.
Dollar Tree also has a dupe for Pottery Barn’s bestselling faux fur pillows.
Shoppers raved about the store’s dupe for the viral Pink Stuff cleaning paste.
