Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.18%.

The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 3.09% or 365.00 points to trade at 12,185.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 2.15% or 14.30 points to end at 678.10 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 2.05% or 240.00 points to 11,970.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 3.62% or 13.60 points to trade at 362.00 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) declined 2.70% or 13.10 points to end at 472.10 and Ambu A/S (CSE:) was down 2.22% or 2.27 points to 99.90.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.63% or 1.89 to $73.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.66% or 2.04 to hit $78.59 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.85 to trade at $2,037.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.17.
