Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency, has become the 13th most valued currency among all the currencies across the world.
The Bitcoin-based credit provider, Bold shared a post last week sharing Bitcoin being 14th largest currency in the world by market cap. However the recent surges in Bitcoin price has pushed it one place upward and positioned the largest cryptocurrency at the 13th place in the list.
Following the recent surges in market price, Bitcoin has overtaken Switzerland’s franc by achieving a market capitalization of $830 billion. Bitcoin is currently behind South Korea’s won which has a market cap of $903 billion, according to the list shared by Bold.
Another list by FiatMarketCap shows that Bitcoin is the 16th largest currency when all these currencies are valued in the Bitcoin market cap.
