MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. The Russian Finance Ministry will allocate 60.1 bln rubles ($670.19 mln) to purchase foreign currency and gold under the budget rule from March 7 to April 4. The daily volume of transactions will amount to the equivalent of 2.9 bln rubles ($32.34 mln), the ministry said in a statement.
“The total volume of funds allocated for the purchase of foreign currency and gold is 60.1 bln rubles. The transactions will be carried out from March 7, 2025, to April 4, 2025, the daily volume of foreign currency and gold purchases will amount to the equivalent of 2.9 bln rubles,” the ministry said.
From February 7 to March 6, the Russian Ministry of Finance planned to allocate funds in the amount of 66.5 bln rubles ($741.58 mln) for the purchase of foreign currency and gold within the framework of the budget rule. The daily volume of transactions amounted to the equivalent of 3.3 bln rubles ($36.8 mln).
