China Stocks Kick Off Week Higher — TradingView News

The Shanghai Composite rose 0.4% to 3,945 on Monday, while the Shenzhen Component advanced 0.9% to 13,636, with both benchmarks rebounding from last week’s losses, led by gains in technology shares.

The technology rally mirrored strong gains in U.S. tech stocks on Friday, with enthusiasm over OpenAI’s newest AI model lifting global sentiment toward chipmakers and AI-related companies.

Notable gainers included Cambricon Technologies (1.2%), SMIC (1.7%), Shengyi Technology (2.7%), Zhongji Innolight (3.5%), Eoptolink Technology (3.1%), and NAURA Technology (2.6%).

Meanwhile, China is injecting CNY 300 billion ($45 billion) into its largest banks and insurers as part of the country’s biggest financial-sector recapitalization in nearly two decades, aimed at strengthening balance sheets and supporting credit growth amid a slowing economy.
