MRSH’s Growth Drivers

Marsh continues to benefit from strong demand across its Risk & Insurance Services and Consulting businesses despite softer insurance pricing and lower fiduciary interest income. In the second quarter of 2026, total revenues rose 6% year over year, while underlying revenues increased 5%. Growth was supported by strong new business at Marsh Risk, continued momentum across Mercer’s Wealth and Health businesses, and robust demand for management consulting services.

AI remains a key pillar of Marsh’s growth strategy. The company is expanding AI-powered platforms and analytics tools, including Marsh Risk Companion, Coverage Intelligence, Atlas, Claims IQ and LenWork, to improve client insights, productivity and service delivery. Its Thrive program is focused on expanding capabilities and sales capacity while improving operational efficiency. Marsh remains on track to deliver $400 million of total savings, with a portion expected to be reinvested for growth.

Marsh Management Consulting grew 13.4% organically in the second quarter of 2026, marking its fastest quarterly growth in more than two years. Growth was broad-based, with Quotient, its AI strategic advisory team, delivering the strongest growth among service lines. The company also saw strong demand for efficiency-related work, M&A services, and private-equity and capital deployment work. This momentum highlights the growing contribution of AI and other specialized consulting capabilities to organic growth.
