ZORO Takes The Floor at FinCon 2026, Live-Demos Its AI Trading Agent Platform

The Los Angeles startup streams the demo live from Palm Springs, showing how professional traders turn one licensed strategy into an always-on trading agent ahead of this fall’s retail launch.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15, 2026 /CNW/ — ZORO, the AI trading agent marketplace built for professional traders, will livestream a demo of its Pro App tomorrow from FinCon 2026 in Palm Springs, giving the public its first real look at the platform traders use to turn a licensed strategy into an agent that trades whether they’re at the screen or not.

The demo streams on ZORO’s X account, @zorotrading, and its YouTube channel, ZORO Trading HQ, alongside a lineup of trading educators and financial content creators with a combined following of more than 11 million. FinCon 2026 runs September 16 through 18 at the Palm Springs Convention Center and draws thousands of financial content creators, advisors and fintech brands each year. The demo is ZORO’s first major public appearance ahead of its retail app, which opens this fall.

“Every trader I know has the same problem. Your income stops the moment you do,” said Chris Hnatko, founder of Spartan Trading and CEO of ZORO. “I’ve taken one or two days off in ten years, because the second I stop showing up, the money stops. I built ZORO so that isn’t true anymore, for me or for anyone who’s put in the years building a strategy that actually works.”

Turning a Licensed Strategy Into an AI Trading Agent, Not Another Wrapper

A trader writes their setups and rules in plain English, then licenses that strategy to ZORO’s Pro App. From there, it becomes a floor of live trading agents: one running the trader’s own account around the clock, and copies of it available for followers to run inside ZORO’s retail app. Every agent on the floor stays tied to the trader’s own name, not folded into an anonymous backtest in a database. It’s the idea behind ZORO’s tagline: Take the floor.

The engine behind it uses AI to help build a strategy, then hands execution to algorithms instead of an AI model making live calls. “A model making its own trading decisions in real time is slow, it’s a security risk, and it burns money at the frequency that actually matters. That’s exactly why the biggest trading firms in the world run on algorithms and not on a chatbot,” Hnatko said. “We spent years building an engine that trades like they do. Nobody copies that in a weekend. We want ZORO to be the best AI trading agent platform for traders who already have alpha, not the biggest database of backtests.”
