Fake Currency Notes: Man Arrested With Fake Currency Notes | Ludhiana News


Ludhiana: Ludhiana rural police arrested a man for possession of fake currency notes worth Rs 5,800. The arrested accused was identified as Kuldeep Singh of Lande village in Moga. Police officials had received a tip off that the Kuldeep along with his aide Harbhagwan Singh of Baghelewala village, Moga prints and markets fake Indian currency. They were told that on Friday, Kuldeep would go to the bus stop to deliver the fake notes to one of his customers. Acting on the information, an ASI, along with other cops, reached the bus stand of Chowkiman village and when the accused tried to flee the spot on seeing them, they apprehended him. The accused were booked. Harbhagwan is yet to be apprehended, said the cops.
