In August 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 68.1 billion (114% of the previous month’s level), or 82% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
This is stated in the exchange’s message, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
In January-August 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 557 billion (187% of the level of the same period in 2024), or 82% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
In the trading structure for August, the share of Ukrainian government bonds was 70.1% (UAH 47.7 billion, or 117% of the previous month’s level), currency swaps – 23.6% (UAH 16.1 billion, or 115% of the previous month’s level), foreign government bonds – 5.6% (UAH 3.8 billion, or 88.5% of the previous month’s level), securities of collective investment institutions – 0.6% (UAH 0.4 billion, or 65% of the previous month’s level), corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers – 0.1% (UAH 0.07 billion, or 32% of the previous month’s level), shares of Ukrainian issuers – 0.002% (UAH 1.5 million, or 19% of the previous month’s level) and shares of foreign issuers – 0.002% (UAH 1.1 million, or 645% of the previous month’s level).
In August, 8% of transactions were concluded on the order market, 82% of transactions on the quotation market (including address transactions), 6% of transactions in the REPO and REPO with risk control modes, and 3% of transactions in the SWAP with risk control mode.
In August 2025, 40 trading participants concluded transactions with 93 securities issues (50 government domestic loan bonds, 8 government foreign loan bonds, 13 shares of foreign issuers, 7 CII securities, 5 corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers, 5 bonds of foreign countries, 3 shares of Ukrainian issuers, and 2 currency swaps).
In January-August 2025, 49 trading participants concluded transactions with 183 securities issues. Government domestic loan bonds – 76, government foreign loan bonds – 9, foreign government bonds – 29, shares of foreign issuers – 27, corporate bonds of Ukrainian issuers – 16, shares of Ukrainian issuers – 11, CII securities – 10, bonds of foreign issuers – 3 and currency swaps – 2.
From June 17, 2024, currency swap trading began in the PFTS trading system.
In August 2025, transactions were concluded with currency swaps US dollar – Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: USDUAH) and euro – Ukrainian hryvnia (ticker: EURUAH).
The total trading volume of the above swaps amounted to UAH 16.1 billion (23.6% of the total trading volume, or 115% of the previous month’s level).
Among the 50 issues of government domestic loan bonds with which transactions were concluded in August, 8 issues have maturity dates in 2025 (UAH 1.1 billion), 17 issues have maturity dates in 2026 (UAH 13 billion), 17 issues have maturity dates in 2027 (UAH 16.4 billion), 6 issues have maturity dates in 2028 (UAH 13.9 billion) and 2 issues have maturity dates in 2029 (UAH 2 billion).
From July 26, 2022, trading in government domestic loan bonds of Ukraine denominated in foreign currency, in the currency of the nominal value, began on the PFTS.
In August 2025, the volume of exchange contracts with government domestic loan bonds executed in the nominal currency amounted to USD 51.7 million and EUR 1 million (3.2% of the total trading volume).
As of September 1, 2025, the number of members of JSC PFTS Stock Exchange admitted to trading was 51: 29 banks and 22 financial companies.
408 issues of financial instruments were admitted to trading on JSC PFTS Stock Exchange, of which 114 issues of securities were in the Exchange Register.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in July 2025, the total trading volume on the PFTS amounted to UAH 60 billion (78% of the previous month’s level), or 78% of the total trading volume of securities trading organizers in Ukraine.
