SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A former CVS Pharmacy in San Juan will soon become the newest Dollar General in the city.
According to permits filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the CVS that was located at 100 E. FM 496 will be converted to a discount store.
The TDLR website indicates the store will change occupancy limits, the use and areas of the store. The renovation includes new finishes, lighting system, fixtures, bathrooms and partitions.
Construction on the changes is expected to begin in the middle of February and be completed in a month at a cost of $350,000.
The city has three other Dollar Generals throughout the area.
