SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A man has been charged for allegedly stealing thousands from a Dollar General in Springfield last year.
According to court documents, Tyler Ferguson, born 2000, of Springfield, is charged with stealing $750 or more in Greene County Circuit Court.
The probable cause statement says that Ferguson was a sales associate of a Dollar General in Springfield.

A witness reported to police that they saw Ferguson using a Chime barcode to steal $2,437.40 from the store between Nov. 23 to Dec. 10 of 2024, the statement says.
In the probable cause statement, Ferguson allegedly admitted to the theft in a written statement. Video surveillance footage was also given to police by the witness.
Ferguson is due in court on June 13 for an initial hearing.
