A CLEANING and cost-cutting fanatic could not get over the detergent dupe she found at the Dollar Tree.
It worked so well for so much less she didn’t think it could be real.
“Hey, I’m about to tell you a huge Dollar Tree secret, but you didn’t hear it from me,” said Dee (@deecleans222).
She had only question to determine if others would be just as excited about the frugal find.
“Do you love those Downy scent beads that normally go for 15 to $20 a bottle?”
Well if you do, you are now in laundry luck, because Dee has found the detergent of your dreams.
She explained just why her dollar discovery cost considerably less.
“These Dollar Tree aroma boosters are actually Downy scent beads that were made improperly.”
Instead of being full circles, these are half circles.
For only $1.25, she didn’t seem to mind the discrepancy in size.
Dee was still in disbelief as she filled up a glass canister with the pink beads.
She exclaimed: “I thought this Dollar Tree urban legend was a myth! Well I was pleasantly mistaken!”
And it seemed others had also become faithful followers.
“I’m obsessed with these and they work better than the name brand,” exclaimed one impressed follower.
Dee replied: “Exactly!”
If you are now also a believer, you better hurry up because as Dee explained, these dupes don’t last long.
“Tell me that’s not a steal. So if I were you I would run over to your nearest Dollar Tree because when they get them in stock they do go fast. I’d advise you to stock up.
“I personally bought five for myself, that should get me through the month.”
Some were also taking their frustrations out on Dee for letting the secret out of the laundry bag.
“And this video is why I can never find them now lol,” joked this follower.
“Sorry lol, I thought the same thing! Like damn now I’m not going to be able to find them lol,” she replied.
Scent beads are often favorited for their ability to provide long lasting scent and are safe for use in all machines types.
