Saginaw man convicted of first-degree murder in Family Dollar shooting


SAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man has been convicted of killing a man in a brazen, broad daylight shooting inside a dollar store.

Jurors in the trial of Ronald L. Kinchen Jr., 39, delivered their verdicts the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 17, finding the defendant guilty of first-degree murder and eight firearm-related charges. The convictions stem from the June 2024 killing of 44-year-old Omar R. Morrow.
