VERMILLION — The University of South Dakota Coyotes beat the Central Michigan Chippewas 1-0 during women’s soccer on Sunday.
The first half was mostly in control of the Coyotes. USD had three shots on goal and spent most of the half on the Chippewa’s side of the field. The continued pressure paid off with 4:18 left in the first when Sadie Strait centered the ball and Morgan Sullivan headed it in for a goal.
