VERMILLION — The South Dakota Coyotes volleyball team stormed from behind to defeat the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles, 3-2 (23-25, 25-27, 25-20, 25-21, 15-13), on Friday night in NCAA volleyball action in Vermillion.
For South Dakota, Lauren Medeck imposed her will with 24 kills and 13 digs. Amanda Loschen added 13 kills and five blocks. Samantha Laird recorded 12 kills, while Avery Van Hook accumulated 52 assists and 22 digs in the victory.
