United States stock markets will be closed on Friday, April 18 in observance of Good Friday, the day in which those who follow the Christian faith commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ.
The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange will be closed Friday and reopen Monday, April 21. The U.S. bond market will close at 2 p.m. ET Thursday and will also be closed Friday, according to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
After shuttering for Good Friday, it will be business as usual on Wall Street until late May. The next scheduled stock market closure is on Monday, May 26 in observance of Memorial Day.

- Juneteenth: Thursday, June 19
- Independence Day: Friday, July 4

- Christmas: Thursday, Dec. 25
