Nutmeg is a digital provider of Stocks and Shares Lifetime ISAs. To open an account, there’s a relatively low investment of £100.
While there’s no DIY investing on the platform, investors can choose between a relatively wide selection of ready-made options that allow investors to choose the risk level that best fits their needs.
Nutmeg offers five portfolio styles:
- Fully Managed portfolios, at 10 different risk levels
- Socially Responsible Investment options, which take into account certain environmental, social and governance considerations, at 10 different risk levels
- Three Thematic investment themes, with five risk levels for each
- Fixed Allocation portfolios, with five different risk levels
- Smart Alpha portfolios (powered b J.P. Morgan Asset Management), with five different risk levels
Platform fees vary by portfolio type. Fully Managed, Thematic Investing, Socially Responsible Investment and Smart Alpha options come with an annual platform fee of 0.75% on the first £100,000, and a 0.35% fee on any portion of the balance above this.
Its fixed allocation portfolios charge tiered fees of 0.45% on the first £100,000, and 0.25% on any portion of the balance above this.
These fees don’t take individual fund costs into account, which range from 0.17% to 0.32%. Market spread costs also apply. Fees Explained.
Nutmeg also offers a stocks and shares ISA, stocks and shares Junior ISA, general investment account and pension.
