Franklin Templeton has launched a fund based on the $64bn (£49.3bn) Putnam US Large Cap Value Equity strategy, which is available to UK investors.
The FTGF Putnam US Large Cap Value fund adopts the approach of the Putnam strategy, which was launched in 1992.
The strategy will be managed by Boston-based portfolio managers Darren Jaroch and Lauren DeMore.

The Putnam US Large Cap Value fund will invest at least 80% of its total assets in the shares of large cap US companies which the managers view as undervalued.
Franklin Templeton acquired Putnam Investments in 2024. Last month, Franklin Templeton announced it would begin to make the firm’s products available to UK investors.
Harry Reeves, head of sales, UK Wholesale at Franklin Templeton, said: “In the current market environment, characterised by uncertainty due to political factors, this strategy offers UK investors diversified exposure to the US market with a disciplined approach to blending multiple sources of alpha.”
