As NFL legends, the trio of Deion Sanders, Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp have plenty of trading cards in circulation. Prospective recruits at Colorado are now getting to have that same experience.
Preston Ashley, a 4-star cornerback who committed to the Buffaloes, shared the official offer he received from the school. It included a one-of-a-kind card of his likeness, along with others from Colorado coaches:
Splashy offer letters are par for the course in college football. Last year, the Buffs used a Louis Vuitton-like pattern for their formal offers:
Ultimately, these tactics only go so far toward getting a high schooler to sign on the dotted line. Colorado’s 9-4 record and the individual success of Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders in 2024 will go much further toward attracting talent to Boulder.

That makes for a pretty compelling sales pitch to anybody with aspirations of playing beyond the college level.
As usual, Sanders and his staff aggressively hit the transfer portal with 33 new players coming in. They also made some nice progress in the more traditional recruiting sphere. Colorado finished 38th in 247Sports’ composite team rankings for 2025 after a 95th-place in 2024.
