Microsoft, Meta Platforms, eBay, Carvana and more By Investing.com


After-Hours Stock Movers:

Microsoft (NASDAQ:) rose 1% after the tech giant reported first quarter earnings per share that beat estimates. Microsoft Cloud revenue was $38.9 billion, up 22% year-over-year.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:) fell 1% despite solid results for its third quarter, after it said it would spend more than investors were expecting this year.

Carvana (CVNA) rose 21% after beating estimates and forecasting operating profit significantly above prior guidance.

eBay (NASDAQ:) fell 8% after reporting lackluster third quarter results and disappointing guidance.

Robinhood (NASDAQ:) fell 8% after publishing quarterly revenue that trailed estimates despite being up 36% year-over-year.

Coinbase (NASDAQ:) fell 3% after missing consensus estimates on the top and bottom line.

Etsy (NASDAQ:) rose 13% after revenue beat consensus and it forecast a slightly higher take rate than expected for Q4.

Altair (ALTR) rose after Siemens signed an agreement to acquire it for $113 per share, representing an enterprise value of approximately $10 billion.
