The National Weather Service issued an updated severe thunderstorm warning at 10:46 p.m. EDT on Tuesday in effect until 11:30 p.m. EDT for Iron County.
Residents should prepare for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
“At 10:46 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles south of Sidnaw to near Iron River, moving east at 40 mph,” states the weather service. “Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.”
