MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — South Dakota cross country took on a strong field at the Roy Griak Invitational Friday morning, with Geneva Timmerman taking a top 25 finish on the women’s side to highlight the morning.
Timmerman paced the Coyotes for a second consecutive meet, running 22:42.0 in the 6k race to place 21st. Alexus Sindelar ran 23:17.7 for 44th and Drew Beason 23:42.6 for 64th. The Coyotes placed ninth at the meet as a team.
